By creating an account or using BuckSmart, you agree to these terms.

The service

BuckSmart provides hunting planning tools, including property maps and movement forecasts. Heatmaps, scores, and predictions are informational estimates only. They are not guarantees of animal presence, harvest, or safety outcomes.

Your responsibilities

You are solely responsible for complying with all hunting laws, seasons, licensing, landowner permission, and safety practices. You must only upload content you have the right to use. Do not misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, or interfere with other users.

Accounts & plans

You must provide accurate account information and keep credentials secure. New Pro subscribers receive a 30-day free trial; a payment method is required, and billing starts when the trial ends unless you cancel. After that, Pro is billed monthly through Stripe. Manage or cancel your subscription in Settings. The trial is available once per account.

Intellectual property

The BuckSmart application, branding, and software remain our property. You retain ownership of the content you upload; you grant us a limited license to host, process, and use that content to operate the service, provide support, and improve models and product features (including using trail-camera images and labels for training and evaluation), as described in our Privacy Policy.

Disclaimer & liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. We are not liable for hunting decisions, land access disputes, or damages arising from reliance on forecasts or map data, except where liability cannot be limited by law.

Changes

We may update these terms; the "Last updated" date will change when we do. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
